People just aren't enjoying it scorch and would rather have a beer.

At Upton Park you sort of thought we could have a comeback, but so far in the OS, there hasn't been a single comeback has there, or even look like being one?

I can't wait to go to Southampton Saturday, shame I'll never have that feeling again about a home game ever.

Northern - maybe Moses was better than I gave him credit for but they left us walking after shadows last night.

A few people were leaving after the second goal. Fucking shameful.

Yeah but Grumps... that bloke with the beard (Samuels) says it's nothing to do with it.... I mean the club stuck the piece up on the official club site... Martin Samuels maaaan...

17 games at the OS and in 4 of them we've conceded 4 or more goals.

At Upton Park it was in 95 previous games that we conceded that many.

Stats don't lie and until the club is completely settled into that shit hole, the poor buggers who go will have to get used to such whackings.

Just spoken to a few who went last night (sort of) and out of one group of 8, 4 of them actually stayed in the Builders and didn't even bother going to the ground, such is their dislike of the place. Guess they were the lucky ones!

Have caught a few highlights and we looked all over the place.

Leroys is right. A midfield of Lanzini, Obiang, Noble and Feghouli were never going to compete with City last night.

They were just too mobile and too quick for us.

Last season....

Manchester City 1-2 West Ham

Midfield of Lanzini, Payet, Moses, Noble and Obiang

Not too quick and mobile that day.... then again we never played them at the Cesspit that day....

Sniper - well we certainly haven't got a team of absurdly fit players that's for sure.

It was weird last night - the setup seemed to be somewhere between trying for two banks of four and keeping shape and then some weird half arsed pressing game

The best ways to play city are either to just resign yourself into letting them have the ball and not doing anything until they get into your half or having a team of absurdly fit players closing down the whole time to stop them settling. We did neither

A few of use went last night, terrible performance. Players looked so slow, no urgency, didn't close them down, gave them so much space.

We need a massive overhaul in the summer. I can't list all the crap players that we have, too many. We need a new RB and LB , Striker, Keeper, CM, Thought Carroll, Antonio, Fernandes and Snodgass did OK.

One of our group was the first time at the LS and he said they should have enclosed the roof like the Millenium stadium because you couldn't hear the fans. Was 3 rows from the front and got wet even walking up to the back of the lower tier due to the wind.

very true axeman.

as for last night, i could probably suffer it if it were a one-off............. but the exact same thing happened in the cup game and we didnt learn a fucking thing.

it took us 4 months to score 9 goals at the cesspit, its taken man city about 150mins.

The simple truth is that after TWO windows the team and squad is weaker then last season, takes some doing that. Fucking thieving cunts.

The tempo of the team.is set by the midfield...runners that should convert defence in to atrack.

We dont have runners...we have trotters

I love Noble as a bloke..good for team.morale etc but by fuck his place should be given to another

Southampton play a passing game at pace albeit without the quality of City but they like to move the ball and their players put in a shift and they also tore us one at home.

Bilic would be slaughtered for being Allerdici like but he would have been better to pack the midfield last night and deny them as much space. Thing is Carroll does not suit that system as you need a player who can cover the ground much quicker and hassle the opposition and help out in an almost "false 9" set up. But at home fans would not accept that. I suspect it would have made us harder to break down.

Last night, City took their foot off the gas second half and could have scored more especially when Silva was on the pitch.

Bilic tries to play a positive set up but against teams like City its suicide really and he does not have the squad to match them in any area anyway.

We are treading water. Owners need to get us a better team and perhaps manager too longer term to play in this shiny "hyper bowl" :-(

Meaningless to judge then. They are a cut above.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Man City - Official Match Thread FT 0-4
Not sure I'll renew, last night infuriated me because there are proffesional footballers who can't even do a simple thing like keep the ball in play and cross it, Feghouli kicks it out of touch for a goal kick. I don't mind seeing us lose if we compete and give it our best. PLayers were so far off their man, made me wonder if everyone of our players had a free role. What happened to man marking?

Why didn't our wide players stay wide and get crosses in for Carroll?

Seriously fucked of with it all, nearly left at Half time last night, first time in 26 years I've though of doing that.

White flag went up too easily for me. Thank god we haven't got to play them again.
